Rule # 1:
A multiple choice exam is just a game. Enjoy it!!

Master the Australian board has been designed as a game in which, if you do a mistake that puts the patient in danger you not only lose the point in the question but also you are sent back to the beginning. It has been designed in this way to fulfill the necessity of fixing critical topics on our trainee's memory. These topics will most likely be the questions that are worth the most points in your exam.

Rule # 2:
Mistakes are richer than right guesses.

When playing this game remember to take notes of your mistakes and review the questions later. Do not understimate mistakes. Your success in the exam depend on you overcoming misconceptions and learning the language of the multiple choice exam.

Rule #3:
The "Why" is more important than the "How".

Put effort in understanding the why, because if you understand the principle behind you will be able to apply it in every scenario possible in which you are asked. Of course, you will have to memorize several tables, cut off values and algorithms, but understanding the principles will secure you the points on that particular topic.
