The story behind
Melbourne Q-Bank (MQB) is the product of continuous hard work towards providing high-level education to International Medical Doctors (IMG) and medical students in Australia. This bank was born in 2021 out of necessity due to the scant or poorly written academic material available to cover the content of the Australian Medical Examinations. Indeed, the first challenge I faced when I started my own AMC journey was finding high-quality academic material. As a matter of fact, the only official document that covers this exam, the AMC handbook (AKA as “The blue book”) was released 12 years ago and has suffered no updates. Furthermore, most of the questions banks available at the time were not even based in Australia. Therefore, I decided to change that and teamed up with fantastic instructors to create this Australian-based question bank accessible to everyone seeking medical education.
